After the Christchurch Mosques Massacre, a number of people were arrested by the police for possessing and distributing the livestream video or manifesto of the shooter. According to the media there were about a dozen people arrested with half being held on REMAND UNDER CUSTODY (who claimed they were not guilty) and the balance were released on bail for sentencing. However, the courts have issued NAME SUPPRESSION ORDERS for most of those arrested, so we really don’t know how many have been arrested at all.

Of all those arrested and held on remand in custody until their court trial, and wish to defend themselves in court claiming they are not guilty, their court hearing may be up to 15 months time. This means these people will be held in prison for up to 15 months BEFORE THEY HAVE EVEN BEEN ABLE TO DEFEND THEMSELVES IN COURT. If they are found not guilty at trial, they get no compensation for the time they have been held in jail.

Currently, in New Zealand, almost 30 per cent of the entire prison are being held on remand! Yes, 30 per cent! These are people who have been arrested and imprisoned without having even been tried in court!

So Kiwis, this is the tyrannical police state developing that most of you have created by your own apathy, with incompetent politicians and a corrupt judiciary and sentenced your children and grand children to in the future. No wonder so many of our young people are committing suicide!
